A massive tornado hit the small town of Joplin, Missouri on May 22, killing more than 100 people. Hundreds more were injured and rescue teams are still searching the rubble survived.
The twister destroyed a massive 30 percent of the city; entire neighborhoods were reduced to vast piles of rubble. "It's like taking a mower through tall grass. This is what it seems. The devastation is complete. It's down to Earth, "said State Senator Ron Richard.
